What a shot
Friday, July 9th, 2010
Whilst everyone else was glued to their television sets for the England v Slovenia game, a few self-sacrificing Hudson Fugglers were baking in the heat of a photo shoot for Team London Bridge.
Five years ago, businesses within the London Bridge-Tower Bridge area voted to create a Business Improvement District and pay annual contributions towards a fund used for services, projects and events that benefit businesses and employees located in the London Bridge area. Business-led and fully independent, Team London Bridge was set up to manage the area and look after this fund and now they are seeking re-election to continue the good work for another five year term.
We are currently producing a new proposal document to explain the renewal ballot process, what has been achieved to date and their plans for the future. David Oxberry was commissioned to capture and record the key themes central to their work which include; Safe and Secure, Creating Connections, An Enhanced Street Scene, Place Promotion and Responsible Business.
It goes without saying that the photo shoot was much more successful than the England campaign!

chip shop awards
Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

Here at Hudson Fuggle we love the opportunity to show just how creative we really are. The annual Chip Shop Awards is a time for the whole office to get together and test the limits of good taste. Last years High School Musical pregnancy test gives a tiny insight into how our collective minds work. This year we weighed in for the good old newsagent’s window advert category. The submitted entries are being carefully guarded by the Chip Shop judges but in the mean time we thought we would share some of the ideas that did not quite make the grade. The Chip Shop results are released in early May, so fingers crossed then…

going underground
Friday, January 15th, 2010

We are pleased to announce that, following a competitive pitch in December, we will shortly be working with Mansell Rail in developing their business to business marketing communications.
Mansell Rail works primarily on the London Underground network, managing programmes for building, refurbishing and fitting out train stations.
We look forward to beginning work with their team later this month. Watch this space for further updates!

hudson fuggle calendar time
Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

The Hudson Fuggle calendar is becoming a bit of an institution, and this year we went back to basics. Armed with our thimbles and thread we headed down to Clapham to the Papered Parlour for a day of tea drinking, cake eating, and a spot of needlework.
Months of the year were drawn out of Ian’s fez hat and each member of the team was then tasked with capturing the essence of their given month using only fabric, needle and thread.

After the first round of tea and cake we set about trying to capture our characters by sketching them and thinking about how they could work as 3D objects.

After a mad rush to the fabric corner to choose our textiles and buttons, we sat down and started to make our creatures.

By the fifth round of tea and cake and with light fading fast there was a mad panic to get everyone’s characters finished.
They were then lovingly packed, ready for the next stage of their journey – the photoshoot, where it has to be said, they were perfect models and very professional!
Their grand unveiling will be in our 2010 calendar – currently at the printers – so you will be able to see each one soon.
